This family friendly house has it all. Great view of Fisherman's Bay, a large deck from which to enjoy sunrises and the colors of sunsets, close to the village, large kitchen stocked with all you need and comfortable, clean bathrooms and bedrooms. We had a problem when we first arrived which was resolved in a timely manner with good communication. We would happily go there again and highly recommend it to others.
We spent a week at this wonderful home on the water at Lopez Island. Our group included 4 adults and two children, ages 4 and 6 years. The home was light and spacious with plenty of room for our party. The home appeared updated relatively recently and was well-stocked with kitchen items, washer and dryer, and all the necessary amenities. The living room and kitchen windows look out on a small lawn and the water with the Lopez town across the way. We could watch the boats and sea planes come and go. Deer wandered across the lawn and we could see otters, eagles, seal, and kingfishers from the deck. The kids spent hours safely combing the tidal rocks. The home is conveniently located from town and the whole island is easily accessible from the property. My only very minor complaint, common to many rentals, is the paper products that are about the cheapest available. Also, good to shop for food and staples on the mainland before coming as the Lopez markets are limited and expensive. We would strongly recommend this property for anyone needing a 3 bedroom home on this quiet island.

We were very comfortable for our week of vacation in this beautiful location! The home was more than adequate for our family. Communication with owner was excellent. Kitchen was fully equipped with everything we could need. Very clean, open and bright. Beds were comfortable and the view of water and wildlife was lovely to wake up to! We hope to come back!

Beautifullysimple home with great resources for staying “in”. Well appointed kitchen and baths. Great light and views of the bay from every room. A perfect spot to slow down and recharge.
We’ve spent several Christmas holidays on the San Juan Islands but this was our first on Lopez. Based on our experience at Fisherman Bay Retreat it won’t be our last. We loved the three bedrooms on their own thermostats and two bathrooms with marble showers. We made all our meals during our week there except two and found the kitchen was well equipped for our needs. We needed additional paper goods for all the meal prep and are happy to report that the management company responded quickly to our requests. Overall it was a very comfortable property with great views and chill atmosphere tucked away on the bay. Only 10-15 min to town including shops and restaurants. Be sure to eat at Setsunai noodle shop at The Galley, close to the house. We hope to come back again next year!
We traveled to Lopez Island to enjoy biking the beautiful terrain. The house was in a quiet peaceful area, with views of the water. Inside was clean comfortable and had everything we needed. We enjoyed our stay very much
We loved our stay here! We went for my Father in laws 60th birthday and had our annual crabbing trip. It was a beautiful location! Waking up to the view and huge deck was a huge bonus. It’s very peaceful and the bathrooms are clean & updated. Beds are very comfortable, too! 4 stars because we had a few minor issues- only one roll of paper towels provided for 5 day stay, master shower doesn’t drain, wrong coffee filters provided for machine, no garbage disposal, etc. nothing major & when we asked host for these, they were very responsive. Overall a very lovely stay.
This was our third visit to this wonderful property. A beautiful "busy" view of Fisherman's Bay. Very comfortable three bedroom house with great living room, kitchen and deck. Easy car access to all parts of the awesome island.
The view is good regardless of the weather. If sunny there are plenty of chaise lounges with cushions for out door relaxation. The kitchen has all the utensils one needs for cooking. The toaster could use an upgrade. The bathrooms are updated, comfortable and beautiful. There are instructions for check in and checkout but they need to sort out the outdated (contradictory) ones. I recommend a stay here and hope to return.

We loved your home and would absolutely come to stay again. Your space was perfect for a family with 2+ kids. Our kids loved having the water just out the back deck, and there toys and books and games for everyone to enjoy. The quick and easy access to Lopez Village and the Islander made it even more convenient for our stay. We will be back!
My family and I loved staying in this rental. The location was perfect, easy to get to everything on the island (and we loved driving down Bayshore road with the water on either side every time we came back from exploring!), quiet, secluded, and such a beautiful view. I particularly enjoyed the master bedroom view, perfect for early morning quiet time, as well as the spacious bathtub, great for a soak after a lot of hiking. We were pleased with the cleanliness of everything, and the furniture was in great shape. We were drawn outside again and again to birdwatch and enjoy the view. My daughter found it a perfect spot for painting and my youngest found the grass great for tumbling. ;) I also appreciated how well stocked the kitchen was. A few tips for those planning to stay: the water does not get very hot for very long. Plan accordingly for bathing and dishes. Also, the extra towels are located in the second bathroom cupboard (I thought all we had was in the master!). Lastly, there is no recycling or garbage disposal in this rental so plan accordingly. Overall we highly recommend Fishermans Bay retreat!
Wonderful home for a rainy Thanksgiving weekend. The kitchen was really well stocked with cooking gear, so we were able to cook our feast without incident. The tides were very high all weekend and we enjoyed watching the water move. I'd love to be there on a very-low-tides weekend to see the contrast. The only negative was that the water came and went according to no particular pattern. Luckily it would slow before it stopped, so none of us got stuck in the shower covered in soap. But it was annoying. We filled some containers when it was on, and bought some gallons at the market, but obviously, it would have been better for it to just stay on all weekend.

Spacious with three bedrooms and an awesome deck. I only wish there was a beach to walk on... but can't complain! Would stay here again! My family enjoyed it and not too far away from town.

Once a year the girls and I get away to a VRBO property. This one checked all of our boxes. Water view, nice dining table for playing cards, comfortable beds Cozy living room. In this case, this small rambler was perfect. We had netflix for a few movies and Pandora on the tv for background music, The WIFI was solid. I had no reception on my Verizon phone on this island, but my friends with Tmobile had no problem. I was able to connect to the house Wifi with no problem. This home is straight across Fishermans Bay from the Islander Lopez. They leave their lights on at night which reflect in the water, and look like the Titanic in the movie right before it sank. But that could have been the cocktails. The beds and pillows were so comfortable! This home had everything we needed. There was no recycle container available though, so I brought it home with me. Not a big deal, I just hope that others do the same and not put it in the garbage. The owner who lives at the end of the beach came by and got the lawn chairs out of the garage for us because it was sunny in March. There is a guy who walks his goats on the beach at the spit, and everyone waves on this island.

Beautiful views, huge deck, and great quiet location not far from town. Nice living tool layout, with board games, a dining table, and cozy furniture. The TV was preloaded with Netflix which was nice for when we returned in the evenings during the rainy weekend. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and appliances and kitchen tools, and we liked the layout for cooking. We would love to return in summer when it’s a little warmer. Just a note that there wasn’t enough hot water to fill the tub, so stick to quick showers!

We had a great stay with our one year olds! It was child friendly, the management was stellar and really accommodating and the place was so clean! Had a great time and will be back!!
The stay was perfect. Right across the bay from our family. Everything was very convenient, clean, and new. Due to the weather, we were not able to use the lawn chairs but that was the only down fall. Would definitely stay here again.
This home was clean, comfortable and well appointed. Just over the spit and down a wooded dirt road, the house sits in the Bay, affording great nature watching day and night, during serene and stormy times. Daily walks from the home to the Spit, again more unbelievable nature watching, is a comfortable 2.5 mile round trip. The kitchen was fully stocked (wow, sharpened knives -a treasure!), the master bedroom has its own bathroom, a a dories hallway separates the other two bedrooms and bath, providing privacy. One thing to note was a sudden loss of water at varied times. In addition, the Internet connection was very weak. We had to call the providers to up the bandwidth. We were unable to enter our own passwords into the Roku, but we solved that by bringing our own. A radio would make a nice addition to this home. The property management firm was always prompt and responsive, though they have an incorrect internet password on the house information sheet. We found the correct one in the house. We feel fortunate to have found this lovely, quiet property.

What a wonderful place for an extended weekend! The location in Fisherman's Bay is quiet and peaceful. The house feels a lot bigger than it looks from the outside because of all the big windows and high ceilings. Inside is clean, very-well maintained and nicely decorated. I would highly recommend this place.
This place was special. With access to the bay for Kayaks, and proximity cose to the village, as well as being centrally located on the Island, we couldnt imagine a better cacation location. Add the big windows looking out to the bay and cozy bright and comfortable living spaces - we really were able to kick back and enjoy it all. We kayaked the bay and around the island right out of the home, and we biked everywhere as all was attainable to get to distance wise. The final blessing was how the home was sighted making you really feel you are away from it all and private.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at property. The location is perfect and being able to eat dinner or enjoy your morning coffee on the deck overlooking Fishermen's bay is fantastic.
A beautiful spot at water level for great views. This is a wonderful house, not a cabin, with a great kitchen and fine bathrooms and bedrooms.
The weather was great, nice breeze, great view and very clean and nicely apportioned home. The only down side was that there was a 1/2 mile long gravel road to get to this property. This was only an issue as we has road bikes which don't do well with gravel. Not dusty, just had to transport bikes to the paved county road. Lopez Is. is a great place to cycle.
We came to Lopez for a cycling weekend and after a lovely drive along a beach spit then thru the woods, Im glad we found this comfortable, well appointed vacation home. We loved the large kitchen layout w plenty of counters to spread out our snacks and the spacious living room area that opened out onto the deck area. Though our weekend stay was cloudy & misty we could see how much the patio deck would be used when it its sunny. The bedrooms had comfy beds and great reading lights w dimmers so one could read & not disturb anyone. We found the instructions and follow up fr the property management company very organized and professional inc a followup check-in. We would recommend & stay here again.
